What should I check if my house has no heat?-Salt Lake City Furnace

“The first thing I would look is if you do have any type of digital thermostat –whether it be programmable or non programmable– is check to see if the batteries are dead. Most thermostats will tell you if the batteries are low. That would be the first thing I would check.

The next thing is I would check to see if the power is on to your furnace. You could check the breaker and make sure the breaker isn’t tripped.

The third thing is I would check to see if the filter is dirty. Those three things can save you a lot of money on service fees and repair costs, just by checking those three simple things first. If it still is having issues, call a qualified service technician and we can come out and let you know what exactly is wrong and what it’ll cost to fix it so you can get your equipment running as efficiently and properly as possible.
