“Oh most definitely. You wouldn’t believe some of the things I’ve pulled out of the garbage disposal. Plastic spoons, bread ties, wire ties, toys, I’ve pulled a number of things out of garbage disposals.

But the things that you definitely want to avoid are potato peelings, you don’t want to put those down there, and cantaloupe rinds. I had a gal that bottled up a bunch of cantaloupe and put all the rinds down and clogged up not only the garbage disposal, but it clogged up her main line. So definitely avoid those two things, cantaloupe peelings and potato peelings.
