Plumber Salt Lake City Utah video #30:

How long does a water heater last?

In this video, John, a Service Technician of Expert Plumbing, Heating, Air and Electrical in Utah, will discuss how long does a water heater normally last.

“On the average, a water heater in lasts 7-10 years without a water softener, 10-12 years with a water softener. So if it’s 8 years getting on in its life, it’s time to start thinking about replacement anyway in any case. At that point, the efficiency of the water heater is about a third of what it normally is because of the sediment inside of the bottom of that tank, that is without a water softener. But yes, you should start to think about replacement at that age.

At Expert Plumbing, Heating, Air and Electrical, we build our relationship on how well people trust and like us. So if you’re having any problem today, don’t hesitate, call us, schedule an appointment. We’ll be down there, we’ll take care of the problem, and no worries, no hassles, no troubles.”
